Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to classical music, old boleros, and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana loves tangos as well opera and dramatic performances. Ana began to learn how to play the piano and sing in the early years together with her mom. The formal singing instruction when she reached the age of 16 old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and later to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. She sang at Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young scholar and professional. After 2000, she emigrated to the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007, she settled in her home in southern California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. The love she has for singing, music as well as the arts keeps her involved in local activities in both her capacity as an artist and teacher. Ana was a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana appreciates being able to share her passion and passion of traditional Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to inspire a passion, especially among younger generations to keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
